Manchester United completed the signing of Marcel Sabitzer from Bayern Munich during the January transfer window. The Austrian midfielder will fill in for Christian Erikson who will be back in some months time due to injury. Erikson is more experienced in the midfield game when compared to Marcel Sabitzer but the later will be a better upgrade to United's midfield. This is because, Sabitzer has the ability to play long range shots when its needed. The presence of Sabitzer means that all Manutd starting midfielders can take long range shots. This Austrian midfielder can also play in many positions. He can play as a defensive midfielder, central midfielder, right winger, left winger and also as a second striker. There is no option to buy in his deal but Manutd can pave way for a permanent move if Sabitzer performs well.
